"The works will be completed by January"/ Erion Veliaj inspects the

Mayor Erion Veliaj has inspected the works on the Treasury road in Tirana.

One of the main segments connecting Unit no. 1 and Unit no. 2.

He says that the owners will be expropriated and compensated, in order to create ample space for pedestrians, as well as to free the movement of cars.

Veliaj further stated that the works will be completed by January.

"Every time I've passed by, I've seen that a car is always entering the construction site. But we also need a little understanding, so that we can meet the deadlines by January. This is one of the only neighborhoods that has underground parking. The concern I have is that the asphalting project will start and if 700 roads are opened, we will give people headaches, so we must work quickly and carefully ," said Veliaj. /CNA.al
