Albanian politicians have become regular users of social networks. They have found a simpler way to communicate with people faster and simpler.

According to a research, these are the most followed Albanian politicians on social networks.

The first place is held by Prime Minister Edi Rama with over 1.6 million followers on Facebook, 1 thousand followers more than last year where he had 1.5 million.

After him, comes former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, with over 1.1 million followers.

The year 2022 was a very difficult year for Basha, who not only disappeared from politics, but he was also abandoned by his followers on social networks. Last year, he held the third place on social networks with 657 thousand followers on the network. while this year he has 643 thousand followers on Facebook. However, he continues to remain in third place.

Meanwhile, the head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, ranks fourth with 160 thousand followers, 2 thousand more than last year where he had 158 thousand followers. /CNA.al
