The chairman of the DP, Durres branch and the candidate in the primary for the Durres Municipality, Igli Cara, in a press conference, said that the project for the Port of Durres represents the biggest corruption affair of this government.

According to him, "Durrës Yachts & Marina" has nothing in common with the name of the project, where the only purpose is theft using public assets.

"Without transparency and in complete darkness, this project represents the biggest corrupt affair of this government.

"Durrës is closely connected with the port, so much so that it has been known as the port city for years", said Cara.

Projekti i portit të Durrësit ka qenë prej kohësh kryefjalë e denoncimeve të opozitës.

Një megaskandal që dita-ditës po qartësohet për këdo.

“Durrës Yachts & Marina” nuk ka asgjë të përbashkët me emërtimin e projektit, ku qëllimi i vetëm është vjedhja duke shfrytëzuar pasuritë publike.

Pa transparencë dhe në errësirë të plotë ky projekt përfaqëson aferën më të madhe korruptive të kësaj qeverie.

Durrësi është i lidhur ngushtë me portin, aq sa njihet ndër vite si qyteti port.

Porti dhe qyteti janë dy anë të së njëjtës medalje.

Përpara syve tanë po kryhet, jo vetëm një akt i paprecedentë i grabitjes së pronës publike,por dhe një akt i turpshëm mbi historinë dhe  identitetin kombëtar.

Projekti që po na serviret, është projekti i babëzisë, sepse e keqja me këtë qeveri nuk ka kufi.

Të vjedhësh me ligj është standardi i vendosur nga kjo qeveri!

Dëshmi është edhe nxitimi për ta miratuar me shpejtësi këtë projektligj, që fut ujë nga të gjitha anët.

Me gjuhën e shifrave afro 3.8 miliardë euro kundrejt një "fitimi" nëse mund të quhet i tillë prej 2% të xhiros vjetore, që investitori do mbledhë nga Marina.

Në kufijtë e të paimagjinueshmes!

Shteti shqiptar vë në dispozicion rreth 800 mijë metër katrorë të Portit Aktual të Durrësit, ndërkohë që investitori do të investojë vetëm 76 milionë euro.

Një projekt i ndarë në dy faza, ku në fazën e parë nuk përmendet në asnjë rresht Marina, vetëm 4000 ndërtime. 280 vende ankorimi në Marinë, kundrejt mbi 8600 apartamente të tjera të planifikuara në vijim.

Për këtë ka nevojë Durrësi? A duhet shkatërruar nga themelet kjo nyje strategjike, duke e zëvendësuar me ndërtime?
