MP Monika Kryemadhi

Deputy Monika Kryemadhi has defended the former chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, whom she has accused of treason.

Kryemadhi said in an interview with Ilir Babarama that the 225 thousand dollars given to Charles McGonigal were not given to Lulzim Basha.

The MP declared that Basha was a hostage, as she claims that Prime Minister Edi Rama had him in his pocket since the agreement of May 2017.

“225 mijë dollarët që janë dhënë tek bodrumi, nuk janë dhënë për Lul Bashën se më 17 maj e kishte në xhep Lulzim Bashës. Çështja e Bashës vjen në rastin për t’u shantazhuar për ta larguar opozitën nga parlamenti. Edhe rasti i Tom Doshit është përdorur në formë gjobe, që t’i heqin non gratën. Në momentin që dështuan me Ilir Metën duhet të ishte vendosur në cep opozita. Duhej dobësuar opozita. Largimin e opozitës nga institucionet për atë kohë për mënyrën sesi u servir.
