PL MP, Monika Kryemadhi came out in support of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and the latter's son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltez, after the accusations that SPAK raised against them for the privatization of the former "Partizani" complex.

Kryemadhi said that Malltezi is a political prisoner, while Berisha is politically persecuted.

She compared the situation with Berisha to that of former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, against whom she said that there were about 475 cases, but his passport was never taken away.
