For the third time, the request of the Democratic Party for the establishment of the Commission of Inquiry for Strategic Investments has been rejected.

At the Conference of Presidents, the PD MP, Enkelejd Alibeaj called this decision scandalous, arguing that the Constitution and the law on investigative commissions have been violated.

According to him, the DP will follow all roads to the end.

"We will inform all the real reasons for the decline of the demand today", said Alibeaj

On June 13, 35 Democrat MPs re-submitted, for the third time in the Assembly, the request for the establishment of an investigative commission to verify the implementation of the law on strategic investments.

The first request of the Democratic Party parliamentary group for the establishment of a commission of inquiry into strategic investments was rejected on May 31 by the Conference of Mayors.

Last week, the majority rejected the second request with the same opposition object after the withdrawal of two deputies.

Democratic Party MPs demand verification of the procedures followed by the government for granting strategic investor status to a number of companies.
