From the joint meeting between the two governments, the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, has indicated that the cooperation for the energy sector between the two countries continues.

Balluku said that there will be cooperation between KESH and KEK and also in the liquefied gas terminal in Vlora.

The Minister added that this agreement will be followed by another agreement, for the LNG terminal in Vlora.

" I would divide the agreements one by one. The first is the memorandum on cooperation in the field of energy. We are aware of the difficulties we have in the energy field in the context of the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Given all the projections, we started working a few months ago for a proper cooperation protocol between KESH and KEK.

Meanwhile, this project has already given the results that we started the energy exchange last year. It should be said that this agreement will be followed by another agreement, for the LNG terminal in Vlora.

It aims to conclude an agreement where Kosovo can provide electricity capacity for the long term. "We need to know the needs you have to address them, " Balluku said. / CNA.al
