Former Deputy Chairman and former DP MP Edmond Spaho has reacted to statements by DP leader Sali Berisha that chemical agents similar to those used in war were used against protesters.

According to Spaho, these statements make the DP unreliable for citizens. Spaho emphasizes that saying that chemical agents like those used in war were used against protesters means not only losing your sense of reality but also intentionally lying.

He emphasizes that the production of chemical weapons and their use on the battlefield are prohibited by international treaties, let alone their use in protests like the one in Tirana.

Spaho underlines that one does not come to power by saying nonsense and if the DP continues to say such things, it will continue to remain in opposition for a very long time.
