The head of the democratic group, Gazment Bardhi, reacted after the Administrative Court annulled the disciplinary measures for the opposition MPs, imposed by the Assembly.

According to him, the court proved the justice of the DP deputies' battle to restore constitutionality and order in the activity of the Assembly of Albania. Further, he made accusations about the way the Assembly functions under the leadership of Elisa Spiropali.

"As never before, the Assembly has turned into a nursery of lawlessness, where the force of arrogance and the brutal violation of the Constitution operates.

Surrounding the Assembly with iron wire and hundreds of Security Forces, to prevent 24 opposition MPs, in violation of the Constitution and the Law, from exercising their duties, is worthy only of authoritarian regimes", writes Bardhi, while adding that it is the case the first time in history that opposition MPs are punished with a regulation that was annulled by the Constitutional Court./ CNA
