Key to the negotiations/ Rama: We had intensive discussions

Prime Minister Edi Rama appeared today in a conference with journalists where he focused on the developments in Spain at the NATO Summit and the meetings in Brussels with the heads of state of the EU.

Regarding the issue of negotiations, Rama said that there were intense discussions to reach an agreement.

"We have had intensive discussions on a final agreement to pave the way for the start of negotiations. We are here for all of this. I want him to remember that with the opening of the road by Turkey, the premises have been created for NATO to be added to Sweden and Finland." Rama said.

Likewise, Rama "advocated" for Serbia, as far as pressure from the EU is concerned, saying that it should not exceed the crisis that could lead to wrong actions.

On the other hand, Rama added that he asked for Kosovo that the entire alliance, despite not recognizing Kosovo, this is not an ordinary time and requires extraordinary acts.

"Kosovo despite the fact that Ukraine does not recognize it. It has maintained a correct attitude, important prudence as a state." Rama said.
