Bido: On May 11th we had normal elections for the first time

The elected Socialist Party MP for the Vlora Region, Ardit Bido, said today that normal elections were held for the first time on May 11th.

Invited to a television show, Bido also spoke about the international reaction, as he focused on their approach until the end of the elections.

"For the first time, we had normal elections on May 11. It did not happen that many things were banned in the country because of the elections. There were normal elections, as befits a country that will join the EU. Internationals see a functional democracy. At the end of the elections, they simply congratulated the party that won and did not play the role of those who should intervene, as has happened before. The reaction of internationals makes you believe that there is normal democracy in the country, that other events can be held in the country, such as the Giro D'Italia, the EU Summit, despite the fact that elections are being held," said Bido. /CNA
