The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has stated that the meeting in Ohrid between Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksandër Vu?i? ended successfully, but there was no agreement.

According to the Chief Democrat, the agreement was not signed because, according to him, Vucic does not follow the interests of the Serbian nation but that of Russia, and that the latter had ordered him not to accept the plan laid out during the meeting.

Miq, takimi shumë orësh i Ohrit perfundoi me ‘sukses’, por marrëveshja nuk u firmos sepse atë nuk e firmosi presidenti i Serbisë, Aleksandër Vuçiç. Në takimin e parafundit në Bruksel ai la të kuptohej se nuk firmosi mbasi kryeministri Kurti nuk pranoi të diskutonte për asociacionin. Kurse në takimin e Ohrit kryeministri Kurti pranoi të diskutojë për asociacionin dhe njëllojë si në Bruksel ishte i gatshëm të firmoste marrëveshjen franko-gjermane.

Në perfundim Vuçiç deklaroi se nuk kam firmosur asgjë dhe se ai nuk firmos marrëveshje ndërkombëtare juridike me Kosovën. Por nuk tha se Kurti nuk pranoi të diskutojë për asociacionin dhe shpjegoi pse nuk firmosi, sepse sipas tij Kosova nuk është shtet i njohur ndërkombtarisht pa çka se atë e kanë njohur 95% e vendeve të lira të botës. Ai gjithashtu tha se ra dakord për disa pika, por nuk tha se për cilat pika nuk ra dakord. Pra ai tregon se edhe marrëveshjen franko-gjermane e trajton si shportë në të cilën mund të blejë vetëm ato që do ai. Në të vërtetë ai nuk firmosi sepse kishte urdhër nga Kremlini të mos firmosë planin franko-gjerman që e detyron atë të zbatojë sanksionet e BE ndaj Rusisë. Ai nuk është dakord që vendi i tij të dalë nga ombrella ruse dhe të shndërrohet nga Rusi e Vogël në Ballkan në Serbi Europiane. Vuçiç nuk ndjek interesat e kombit serb, por ndjek ato të ultranacionalizmit primitiv konfliktual serb.

Pra në Oher nuk pati marrëveshje të firmosur sepse presidenti i serbomadhisë Aleksandër Vuçiç nuk firmosi ndonëse marrëveshja si çdo marrëveshje tjetër për të qënë ligjerisht detyruese, duhej firmosur. Ideja se monitorimi nga BE i zbatimit të së dakortësuar gjatë pocesit të negociatave për anëtarësim të BE e bënë atë një marrëveshje sui generis e cila de facto as de jure nuk mund të zëvendësojë një marrëveshje të firmosur detyruese bilaterale.

This attitude of Mr. Vucic proves that as long as he is in power, he will never sign an agreement with Kosovo. The Kosovo-Serbia agreement is of primary importance not only for the two countries, but also the region and even Europe. Therefore, he thinks that instead of calling and accepting an unsigned document as an agreement, the party that refuses to sign it should face the consequences announced by the EU and the US for those who refuse to sign it.
