The General Secretary of the Freedom Party, Tedi Blushi, in a statement to the media, spoke about the arrest of the head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, on October 21.

Blushi emphasized that the arrest of Ilir Meta is unprecedented and illegal.

During his speech, Blushi stated that Meta was denied the most basic rights in prison, he was not allowed to speak with his lawyer and his arrest was made without any official notification.

"He has the right to communicate with the lawyer and this article has been violated with both feet by the narco-police of Rama. The arrest must follow the proper procedures and everyone has the right to know why he is arrested and this has been violated for Ilir Meta with both legs.
