The DP candidate for the Tirana municipality, Belind Kelliçi, has responded to the mayor Erion Veliaj, after the allusions made regarding his education.

In an interview for the media, Kelliçi stated that he is ready to publish any document that shows his education, calling it an attempt by Veliaj to throw mud on him.

Among other things, Kelliçi made an open challenge to Veliaj, asking him to do the same.

"Undoubtedly, this is a desperate attempt by a man, who is universally known to be without a higher education, who is universally known to be unable to produce any document to prove his entire past. I like Belind for my entire education process since high school that I completed for four years the "Harry Fultz" institute from the five-year cycle with an average of 9.7 where I then went to study in America. I have the impression that I and 20 of my friends have done the same procedure, I have combined my diploma into a Master of Science and I am ready to release any document and make it public, I expect Erion Veliaj, in this studio or wherever you ask , do the same.
