Kryetari i PD-së, Sali Berisha ngriti akuzat se kryeministri Edi Rama ka dërguar në Vjenë ish-ministren e Drejtësisë, Etilda Gjonaj, për të takuar ish-agjentin e FBI-së, Charles McGonigal.
Sipas Berishës, roli i ish-ministres ishte të fliste me Mcgonigal për një pagesë prej 5 milionë euro që ish-deputeti Tom Doshi ishte i gatshëm të bënte nëse do të zbardhej atentati i supozuar i Ilir Metës ndaj tij.
Për këto akuza ka reaguar në Parlament vetë Gjonaj, e cila tha se nuk ka shkuar asnjëherë në Vjenë me mision të posaçëm.
“Me përgjegjësinë time politike dhe institucionale, deklaroj se unë kurrë nuk kam qenë në një mision të posaçëm në Vjenë, përveçse vizitave zyrtare me ftesë të autoriteteve austriake. Ndihem e keqardhur që raporte të tilla midis dy shteteve, të vendosura tashmë në një nivel shumë të lartë bashkëpunimi, të bëhen pis për interesa të tilla të ulëta politike”, deklaroi ajo./ CNA.al
