MP Agron Shehaj has denounced this evening Prime Minister Edi Rama's connections with the arrested former FBI official, Charles McGonigal.
Shehaj said that Rama wanted to give the former FBI official an important post, in addition to payments to do investigations for the opposition.
In an interview with Erla Mëhilli, he stated that the head of government wanted Charles McGonigal to put him in charge of the Anticorruption strategy.
“Këtë zotërinë donin ta vendosnin në krye të strategjisë antikorrupsion, kjo është çmenduri. Pasi i kanë dhënë lekë, donin ta vinin edhe në krye të strategjisë antikorrupsion. Imagjinoni çfarë është bërë në këtë vend me zyrtarët që kanë ardhur. Kur Rama ka arritur deri këtu, mund të ketë bërë gjithçka dhe është në gjendje të bëjë gjithçka”, theksoi deputeti./ B.A. – CNA.al
