Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke about the law of decorations in the parliament.
He said that the former president of the Republic, Ilir Meta, gave Ismail Qemali a decoration.
Rama emphasized that Meta gave 500 decorations during his mandate and that giving decorations to the dead only happens in Albania, describing this on Meta's part as a provincial prank.
"The previous president of the Republic managed to decorate Ismail Qemali. Decoration after death only happens in Albania. Decorating the dead only happens here. A provincial mess. Over 500 medals awarded within one mandate of the president," said Rama./ CNA. al
