Social networks have greatly changed the language and expressions in Albanian, as they are used in everyday life. It is not a matter of people, and their communications on social networks, but also on professional portals.

Above all, there is an increased use of words that denote unexpected, unusual, scandalous things.

These are of the type "the asteroid that will destroy the world is approaching", "the volcano will plunge humanity into disaster", "Falling from the throne", and others and others.

Likewise, ordinary, almost banal events, or ordinary people are presented as deities. "Legend of football", "The world of art in mourning from the separation of the outstanding painter", "Icon of this or that field", etc. "Where art thou, O legend!"

There is a frightening separation between the meaning of a word and the object it signifies. This is how you talk about a private university like Harvard, meanwhile when you know its level, you talk about the environment in the city as green when you know it is living concrete, you talk about parking lots when you know that most of them are muddy grounds, you talk about this and they and the word is taken for reality.

The language of swearing has been added without any argument, where of course public figures throw mud at each other. Terms like "thief", "criminal", "bandit", etc., have become pet peeves.

The semantic gap between words in relation to the same object has increased. Some call the same thing with some words, others with their opposite.

Some call it the best tunnel in the world, others call it a hole in the mountain, some the most beautiful beaches in the world, some call it an area with scandalous urbanism.

The events are not described with ordinary and adequate Albanian words, but with grandomane foreign words : "So-and-so journalist throws the bomb", "so-and-so analyst sets fire to the debate in the studio", "an extraordinary event happened today in Rroskovec", come on find out what unusual can happen there, "the block is armored", that two police cars pass by, etc., etc.

Exciting, commanding sentences, self-aggrandizing judgments, self-confirming, preachy expressions are circulating in abundance.

"You'll see how you end up!" "I have saved Albania." "I like this and I like that!" "My beer," "my career," "the bridge I built," "I got you in here," "I rebuilt my city," etc.

Gjykimet prediktuese të shprehura në fjali gati urdhërore, sikur njeriu di fatin e tij, gjithandej. "Unë do fitoj zgjedhjet", "ti do të futesh në burg", "ai do të na fusë në Evropë fiks në vitin 2430", e kështu me radhë.

The public, after destroying social communication, turns on itself and destroys it. Then the overwhelmed self comes out with jatagan in hand and destroys the audience!
