Discrimination even in the use of national symbols

Albanians in the Republic of Serbia living in the Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanovac regions continue to face discrimination, as there is a lack of legal regulation for the use of national symbols. 

Many citizens of this Albanian province continue to face charges in Serbian courts for using the Albanian national flag. 

The use of national symbols by Albanians in Serbia is their human, national and existential right, but their use has not yet been regulated by legal provisions, and thus discrimination continues in the use of symbols.

The prohibition of the use of national symbols is a violation, infringement, denial of the basic individual and collective rights of us Albanians in this province, despite the fact that on March 1 and 2, 1992, a referendum was organized and held and an armed uprising by the UÇPMB against the forces of the government of the Republic of Serbia took place. 

This Albanian province is discriminated against, as the placement of the statue of Skanderbeg in the center of Bujanovac is not allowed, and the UÇPMB Lapidary in Presheva, removed by the police force, has not yet been returned to its place. 

This Albanian region is discriminated against, as it is the most underdeveloped and discriminated region in all of Europe. Above all, this region, which covers Presheva, Medvegja and Bujanovac, has not resolved the issue of the political status of the Albanians of this region, which is why discrimination continues in the use of national symbols and not only.
