Matthew Perry passed away at the age of 54 on Saturday, October 28, which coincides with the birthday of ex-partner Julia Roberts, writes .

Roberts turned 56 on Saturday. They met in the mid-1990s.

The late actor recalled in his 2022 memoir, "Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing," how the actress reportedly wanted to make a "Friends" movie, but only if she was part of a script for the character of his, Chandler Bing.

Perry sent Roberts dozens of roses to further encourage her to go on the NBC sitcom.

As The Post previously reported, Perry was found dead in the jacuzzi of his home in the beautiful Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles just after 4pm on Saturday.

Faxed letters that "became romantic" then turned into phone calls that lasted 5 hours. Then Julia appeared at his door.

"Meeting Julia Roberts was a lot for me. I was constantly sure that he would divorce me. Why wouldn't he?” Perry wrote in his memoir.

“I wasn't enough, I could never be enough. So instead of dealing with the inevitable agony of losing her, I broke up with the beautiful and brilliant Julia Roberts," he said./ CNA
