"18 years in different homes with her husband"/ Edith Mihali tells the special story of her marriage!

Soprano Edith Mihali has shared the experience of her marriage.

She has been married for 50 years and says that she lived the first 18 years of her marriage at home apart from her husband. As she says, for her they were also the happiest years of her married life.

"On October 17, I have my 50th wedding anniversary. 50 plus 5 years ago they say 55. At a moment when you are very young, you make the most important decision of your life. I am saying that we have been characterized by the responsibility of both, which includes tolerance, sacrifice and patience. After 9 months of marriage I had my son. The husband, Prokopi, had a small house. I had a more comfortable, better home. And the first sacrifice was his. I could stay at my mother's place with my son and he could stay at his house. For 18 years I have lived alone, in different houses.

And it is the happiest moment. We have walked a lot, we have not left a place without walking. Four people were taking care of the child, which meant that I had a lot of time to visit restaurants. I haven't left, to put it humorously, 'mihane', without going for a walk with my husband. Being away and in different homes, you miss more. We were apart, but we were very much together", said Edith Mihali. /CNA.al
