The "miracle" bridge from which you can see four different countries

It's called Kazungula and it's certainly not the most visually impressive structure in the world, but it's located in one of the strangest places on the planet.

The bridge, 923 meters long and 18.5 meters wide, is located over the Zambezi River and is an important road axis in Africa, connecting Zambia with Botswana. It consists of two traffic lanes, a railway line and sidewalks on both sides and was inaugurated in May 2021, so it is recent.

What makes it interesting is that, while it connects the two aforementioned countries, on either side of it are two others, namely Namibia and Zimbabwe!

This means that those who cross it can see Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe at the same time.

However, there is an even stranger geographical feature.

Maps show that this area is considered by some to be the only "four-point bridge," meaning the only point where four countries meet. /CNA
