"Encyclopedia of Albanian Film" is published/ A special research work

Renowned researcher and archivist, Irini Asqeri, has published her latest book, titled "Encyclopedia of Albanian Film".

The publication is the result of a long, scientific and persistent research work, which summarizes all Albanian cinematographic activity. This work refers to the years 1904-2022.

The book is a voluminous publication, with a lot of data and details and covers a time period of more than 100 years. As a result, the author has started her research work from the first steps of cinematography in Albania, to continue with the first productions, the communist period, Albanian film after the '90s and up to the present day.

The promotion of this encyclopedia will be organized on March 24, 2025, at 11:00 at the Academy of Sciences.

Askeri, in a post on social media, also shares images from this publication and the cover of her newest book, with an invitation to join the presentation of her research work. /CNA
