The receptionist of a hotel in Dhërmi disappears.

The police informs that the 31-year-old with the initials E. N, a resident of Tirana, had lost contact with the owners of the hotel.

It is suspected that the young man was shot with a firearm, around 00:30, by citizen G. Sh., 43 years old.

The latter turns out to have left for Greece after the incident.

Police notification:

On 06.06.2024, the Police received notification that in Dhërmi, Himare, EN citizen, 31 years old, resident in Tirana, employee at the reception of a hotel in Dhërmi, Himare, had lost contact with the owners of the hotel.

Upon receiving the notification, the Local Directorate of the Vlorë Police and the Himarë Police Station have set up an investigative group under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office of the General Jurisdiction of Vlorë.

The Police Services and the investigative team went to the hotel and carried out a series of investigative actions. From the investigative actions, it is suspected that the EN citizen was shot with a firearm, around 00:30, by the citizen G. Sh., 43 years old, born in Tepelena and resident in England.

From other investigative actions, it results that after the event citizen G. Sh. has left for Greece.

29 citizens have been administered in the quality of material evidence, legal evidence, and have been accompanied up to these moments, to be questioned about this event.

From the totality of actions so far, it is suspected that we are dealing with a serious criminal event.

The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues to work intensively to find the EN citizen, as well as clarifying the circumstances and complete legal documentation of the case.
