The 13-year escape ends/ The businessman who killed two people on the highway is caught

Businessman Pjeter Paçani

The police arrested the businessman Pjetër Paçani, one of the 50 most wanted persons in Albania.

On January 18, 2011, near a gas station on the Lezhë-Tirana highway, Pjetër Paçani executed with firearms the citizens Ndoc Zymaj and Vlash Gjeçi.

The cause of this double crime was a loan contract of over 100,000 euros, which has not been returned on time.

For this reason, debates and conflicts arose through telephone massages, insulting each other. 

In such a situation, Pjeter Paçani took a pistol and went to the bar called "Exen" on the highway, where he killed Gje?i and Zymaj.

The author, owner of the concrete company "Paçani Sh.pk", was sentenced in 2014 to 25 years in prison by the Court of Tirana, for the criminal offenses "Murder in other qualifying circumstances" and "Carrying weapons without a permit"./ CNA
