The police have identified one of the executioners of Gentian Bejtja, who was executed with a barrage of bullets in March of this year in the yard of his apartment in Larushk of Fushë-Kruja.

Following the announcement of the event dated 15.03.2024, for the murder of the citizen Gentjan Bejtja, inside the fence of the yard of his residence, in the village of Larushkë, Krujë, we inform you as follows:

For the investigation of this serious criminal event, the Local Directorate of the Tirana Police immediately set up a special investigative group, which, under the professional direction of the Prosecutor's Office of the Judicial District of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, continued to carry out all the necessary investigative actions. , on the initiative or ordered by the Prosecutor.

In relation to this event, the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana registered criminal proceedings no. 1944 of 2024, for the criminal offenses "Premeditated murder" committed in collaboration, and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", provided by articles 78, 25 and 278/1 of the Criminal Code.

From the totality of the in-depth investigative actions, it has emerged that the perpetrators approached the residence of the citizen Gentjan Bejtja with a black "Land Rover Discover" brand vehicle and after committing the murder, they left with this vehicle on the Larushkë - Thumanë road axis , after passing the Fushë Kruja overpass, they turned left and in the village of Hasan they burned the vehicle above.

From the investigation, it has been proven that the perpetrators left in a black "Volkswagen Golf" type vehicle, without a license plate on the back, following the route from the place where the vehicle was burned in the direction of the main road Thumanë-Fushë Krujë. they turned right at the Fushë-Krujë overpass and left in the direction of Bubq village, Krujë.

From the analysis of the information received by the police intelligence as well as the surveillance and taking of the security cameras, it became possible to identify the "Volkswagen Golf" type vehicle with license plate AB960GG, owned by the citizen Edison Haxhiu, 30 years old, born in Milot, Kurbin and resident in Tirana. Likewise, it turned out that this vehicle was also used by the citizen Ilir Beqaraj alias Ilir Brahimi alias Ilir Mançellari, born in Milot, Kurbin and resident in Tirana.

Më datë 19.03.2024, nga Sektori për Hetimin e Krimeve të Rënda në DVP Tiranë është bërë arrestimi në flagrancë i shtetasit Ilir Beqaraj alias Ilir Brahimi, alias Ilir Mançellari, 41 vjeç, për veprat penale “Mbajtja pa leje dhe prodhimi i armëve, armeve shpërthyese dhe e municionit”, dhe “Falsifikimi i dokumentave” parashikuar nga nenet 278/2 dhe 186 të Kodit Penal, si dhe ndalimi i shtetasit Edion Haxhiu, 30 vjeç, për veprën penale “Sigurimi i kushte dhe mjeteve materiale për të kryer vrasje”, parashikuar nga neni 80 i Kodit Penal.

In evaluating the evidence and facts, the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Tirana, with the decision no. 1885 dated 26.07.2024 has decided to assign the personal security measure "Arrest in prison", in absentia, to the citizen FP, alias FS, alias FM, 41 years old, born and resident in Vlora, suspected of committing the criminal offense "Murder with premeditation" carried out in cooperation, and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", provided by articles 78, 25 and 278/1 of the Criminal Code.

The services of the DVP Tirana, supported in the operational phase by the services of the DVP Vlorë, have carried out checks to locate the citizen FP, alias FS, alias FM, 41 years old, and the work continues for the capture of this citizen who has been announced as an international wanted person.

Also, in accordance with the decision of the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, control was exercised in the premises of a travel agency in the city of Lezha, where electronic equipment and valuable documents were administered for the investigation.

The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, in the evaluation of the evidence and facts administered, has made the requalification of the criminal offense in charge of the citizen Ilir Beqaraj alias Ilir Brahimi alias Ilir Mançellari, and in addition to the criminal offenses "Forgery of documents" and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", provided by articles 186 and 278/1 of the Criminal Code, the criminal offense "Premeditated murder", carried out in cooperation, provided by article 78 has been added to this citizen of 22 of the Criminal Code.
