The police have given details of the serious incident in Korça, where an 18-year-old man died after jumping from the 9th floor of the building.

It is about the young man with the initials GM, residing in Durrës.

As previously reported by CNA, the young man from Durrës had gone to Korçë with his company to celebrate, but after drinking alcohol, they went out on the terrace.

It is suspected that he threw himself from the terrace and died as a result.

The dead body was found on the sidewalk around 03:50.

"On 25.12.2023, around 03:50, in neighborhood no. 17, Korçë, citizen GM, 18 years old, resident of Durrës, was found dead on the sidewalk. From the first investigations, it is suspected that this citizen, under the influence of alcoholic beverages, may have thrown himself from the terrace of a building, in which the 18-year-old, together with some other friends, had taken daily rent, an apartment entrance on the eighth floor (last) his.

The dead body was transported to the morgue of the Korçë hospital, to carry out medical and legal procedures.
