The Guard employee injures himself with a weapon

An employee of the Republic Guard injured himself this Friday with his service weapon.

It is about the 28-year-old man with the initials FS. The Blues announce that the Guard employee showed up around 18:00 to receive medical help at the QSUT.

From preliminary information, the causes and circumstances of this injury are still unknown. Meanwhile, AMP and the investigative team are working to clarify the incident.

"On 24.05.2024, around 18:00, a citizen of FS, 28 years old, an employee of the Republic Guard, who is suspected of self-injuring himself with the service weapon, presented himself to receive medical help at SUT.

In relation to the case, AMP has been notified, and in cooperation with the investigative group, work is being done to clarify the circumstances of the event," the police announcement states./ CNA
