Extradited from Belgium/ Sergej Hasanpapaj and Mario Çela sent to high-security prison

After being extradited from Belgium, Sergej Hasanpapaj and Mario Çela have been sent to the High Security Prison in Peqin.

The two citizens have been ordered to be sent to an institution known for its strong security measures and isolation of high-risk social elements.

Sergej Hasanpapaj and Mario Çela were extradited from Belgium to Albania.

Hasanpapaj was extradited the day before for the murder of Bledar Muça, an event that occurred on January 22, 2022, in Antwerp, where Muça was executed in the middle of the highway.

Meanwhile, Mario Çela, brother of Suel Çela, was extradited yesterday from Belgium, after being arrested some time ago in Belgium, as part of the SPAK operation, which issued 21 arrest warrants at the time, as part of a group that attempted to traffic large amounts of cocaine from Latin America to Europe./CNA
