The Tirana police in cooperation with the Elbasan police and under the direction of the Tirana Prosecutor's Office have uncovered a fraud scheme.

A group, consisting of 6 people, tried to deceive a businessman in order to benefit him in the amount of 70 thousand euros.

The police informs that in order to achieve this fraud they had presented themselves as officials.

The police managed to discover this scheme and arrested 4 members of the group and announced the search for 2 others.

As a result, citizens Xh. Xh., 24 years old, L. Xh., 39 years old, MP, 30 years old, all three living in Elbasan, and PF, 51 years old, living in Vlora.

Also, citizens Xh. Q., 27 years old, resident in Elbasan, and F. Gj., 40 years old, resident in Shkodër.

" The operation was carried out by Police Station No. 6, Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes of DVP Tirana, in cooperation with DVP Elbasan, in the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction Tirana.

They tried to obtain a large amount of money, through fraud, from a citizen (businessman), presenting themselves as representatives of a state official, 4 citizens were put in handcuffs.

2 more citizens are wanted, one of them the suspected organizer of this fraud scheme.

2 vehicles and 6 mobile phones are seized.

Shërbimet e Komisariatit të Policisë Nr. 6, në bashkëpunim me specialistët e Seksionit për Hetimin e Krimeve Ekonomike dhe Financiare të DVP Tiranë dhe DVP Elbasan, në vijim të punës për goditjen e veprimtarive kriminale në fushën e krimeve ekonomike, në drejtimin e Prokurorisë pranë Gjykatës së Shkallës së Parë të Juridiksionit të Përgjithshëm Tiranë, kanë organizuar dhe finalizuar operacionin policor të koduar “Fraud”, për identifikimin, kapjen dhe vënien në pranga të disa shtetasve, të cilët në bashkëpunim me njëri-tjetrin, kishin tentuar të mashtronin një biznesmen, për të përfituar shumën 70 000 euro.

Si rezultat i këtij operacioni u bë arrestimi i shtetasve Xh. Xh., 24 vjeç, L. Xh., 39 vjeç, M. P., 30 vjeç, të tre banues në Elbasan, dhe P. F., 51 vjeç, banues në Vlorë.
