Tried to steal a currency exchange point in Durrës, the 30-year-old is

The attempted robbery at a currency exchange shop in Durrës is cleared up within a few hours. The police arrested the 30-year-old with the initials EL, as the author of the incident. 

The young man yesterday around 12:45, in neighborhood no. 1, entered a currency exchange shop and, at the threat of a toy gun, attempted to steal a sum of money.

Police Notification:

Cleared in a few hours, attempted robbery at a foreign exchange shop.

The suspected perpetrator is identified, caught and imprisoned.

The toy pistol used by him during the attempted theft was seized.

Yesterday afternoon, immediately after the announcement that a citizen had attempted to steal from a currency exchange shop, the crime investigation specialists of the Durrës Police Station organized the work in order to identify and bring to justice the author(s) of this attempted theft.

As a result of investigative actions carried out with the support of information from police intelligence, the suspected author of the case was identified, caught and arrested, the citizen:

EL, 30 years old, resident of Durrës.

This citizen is suspected that on 12.04.2024, around 12:45, in neighborhood no. 1, entered a currency exchange shop and, at the threat of a toy gun, attempted to steal a sum of money. As material evidence, the toy pistol and the clothing that the suspected perpetrator had during the incident were seized.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further actions./CNA
