How Artur Grori was killed in '97, did not ambush his friend

After the creation of criminal groups in Tirana in the first years of democracy, clashes between the gangs began, which ended with a high number of murders. 

Naim Zyberi, otherwise known as the "strong man" of Tirana, together with Franc Konomi and Ymer Maçin go to the house of Fatmir Rama, known as Miri i Xhike. The latter is a well-known character of the time. 

"The emblem of the neighborhood, the strongest man, was a soldier at the border, he caught a saboteur, then he was brought to Tirana with a permit, he received a decoration for bravery, he made parallels every day with the weightlifter Dhima, they were together" - said the professor of Criminology, Ervin Karamuço.

At the moment when Naim Zyberi, Franc Konomi and Ymer Maçi went to the apartment, Rama was in the apartment but did not come out, and took out Artur Grori. 

The latter was a well-known businessman who owned a restaurant frequented next to the Presidency at that time.

After the meeting, Zyberi asked Grori to meet with Fatmir Rama, but he told him that he was not in the apartment. Naimi Zyberi leaves for his car but changes his mind and returns again where Artur Grori reappears at the door.

In loud tones, Zyberi asks him to immediately call Miri e Xhike, but Grori again told him that he was not in the apartment. At this moment, Naim Zyberi took out his gun and shot him in the heart, leaving him dead on the threshold of the house.

A few days later, Artur Grori's only brother, Arbeni, sentenced to life imprisonment, is suspected of shooting a young man with the surname Maçi, as he was a participant in Artur's murder.

However, he would not give up until he executed Naim Zyberi. Zyberi goes to Milan, where Arben Grori was also. 

In a bar in Turin, Grori spotted Naim Zyberi and there was an exchange of fire between them. Both were injured. Later, after hospitalization, Zyberi was shot dead by opponents. / CNA.
