Accident at work/ The employee dies at the inert collection point

A serious incident was recorded at noon today at an inert collection point in Kruja.

It is known that around 12:30 an employee felt bad and fell to the ground.

But he fell in front of a moving trailer and was crushed by the heavy tonnage vehicle.

The victim has been identified as a 38-year-old man with the initials JB from Fushë-Kruja. The police accompanied the driver of the trailer and started investigating the incident.

"On 14.02.2024, in the premises of a tool collection point (vehicles/working tools), citizen BL, driving a trailer, injured citizen JB, 37 years old, who died as a result of the injuries received .

Citizen BL has been accompanied to the police station for further procedural actions.

The investigative group is working to clarify the circumstances of the event," the police statement said./ CNA
