In the place called "Peja Pass", 4 German tourists, exploring the area on foot, were stranded in the middle of the mountain where one of them was injured and could not follow the road on foot.

Immediately after receiving the notification, the services of the Shkodër Police Station, in cooperation with the Theth Police Station and the civil emergency services, went to the area where the tourists were stranded.

The civil emergency services have controlled the area by helicopter and have made it possible to locate the tourists.

The injured tourist was transported by helicopter to the trauma hospital in Tirana for medical assistance.

Thanks to the well-organized work and cooperation with other services, the police officers made it possible to get 3 more tourists out of the difficult terrain where they were trapped./ CNA
