Possessed remote-controlled mines for criminal events/ 2 people in handcuffs in

In collaboration with his brother, he possessed 2 remote-controlled mines, programmed to explode remotely, which were suspected of being used for serious criminal acts. The 25-year-old was captured and put in handcuffs.    

A 28-year-old man was also arrested, who was helping the 25-year-old hide.

1 vehicle and 3 cell phones were seized. 

The Services of the Serious Crimes Investigation Sector, in cooperation with Police Commissariat No. 3, in continuation of the work to apprehend wanted citizens and bring them to criminal responsibility, have organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Together".  

During the operation, the following citizens were arrested and handcuffed in Selita: 

J. Sh., 25 years old, resident of Shkodra, for whom the Prosecution has issued a detention order for the criminal offense of “Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition”. This citizen was wanted in the framework of the coded operation “Brothers”, conducted in January 2024, as he is suspected of possessing, in collaboration with his brother (arrested), 2 remote-controlled mines, programmed for remote detonation, which are suspected of being used for serious criminal events;

GH, 28 years old, resident of Shkodra, for allegedly supporting citizen J. Sh., helping him hide.   

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action./ CNA
