Who is Erogen Vaso, Ragip Gila's target/ Journalist: The Kalashnikov used for the murder was unusual

Journalist Merin Maçi has revealed more details about who Erogen Vaso is, the target of today's attack in Shkodra, which left two victims and two injured, for the Opinion show.

He explained that he was a well-known name to the police because he was part of the Bajraj group.

He further indicated that the weapon with which Ragip Gila carried out the assassination is not ordinary, as it can hold around 50 rounds of ammunition.

"Erogen Vaso is a well-known name to the police. Before 2018, when there was a series of criminal events in Shkodra, he was investigated for extortion. In 2018, when there were several serious incidents, including that of Arjan Feracaku, criminal proceedings were initiated against the Bajraj group, between whom and Erogen Vaso, ammunition was seized and he served 30 days in prison.

"Erogen Vaso was looking from the side of the road, he noticed the perpetrator and quickly left while the victims had their backs to him, so the reaction was slow. It is worth noting that the weapon is not a Kalashnikov from the usual ones. It is a short weapon resembling a scorpus but it has a content, inside it can stay more than 50 cartridges", said Maçi./ CNA
