"He must receive the harsh punishment of the law"/ Shkodra Mayor Beci reacts to the assassination

The Mayor of Shkodra, Benet Beci, has reacted to the assassination attempt that shook the northern city this morning.

Through a status on social media, Beci says that this event should receive the punishment it deserves.

The mayor further writes that he has contacted the Minister of Interior and all structures to severely punish the perpetrators of such events and to ensure the lives of citizens.

"Dear citizens,

"This morning for Shkodra was not an ordinary one, as happens every day in our city. A criminal event that must receive the harsh punishment of the law has shaken the heart of the city. I have contacted the Minister of Interior and all the structures that fight crime, in the name of the life and safety of the citizens of Shkodra, who do not deserve to face such scenes," writes Beci./CNA
