2 people seriously injured/2 arrested after conflict in Durrës

A serious injury to two citizens occurred in Durrës.

The incident occurred during a conflict over weak motives.

2 citizens have been arrested for the incident.

Police Announcement:

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Durrës Police Commissariat arrested the following citizens in flagrante delicto: 

RE, 22 years old, resident of Durrës, for the criminal offenses of “Intentional serious injury” and “Unlicensed production, possession, purchase or sale of cold weapons”;

AD, 23 years old, resident of Durrës, for the criminal offense of "Intentional serious injury".

Yesterday, in neighborhood no. 15, Spitallë, citizens MD, 47 years old and AD, 23 years old (father and son) clashed with citizens AE, 46 years old and RE, 22 years old (father and son).  

The investigation suspects that during the conflict, citizen RE stabbed citizen MD, while citizen AD punched citizen AE, causing facial injuries. Citizens MD and AE are in hospital, under the care of doctors.        

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Durrës Court of First Instance, for further action. /CNA
