Part of the criminal group that trafficked drugs in Italy, 4 people are arrested

The police in an action in cooperation with the Italian authorities have arrested 4 people MB, 34 years old, UB, 36 years old, EP, 39 years old and BG, 31 years old. 

All 4 of these people are accused by the authorities in Italy, for the criminal offense "Trafficking in narcotics", carried out within the criminal organization.

Police Notification: 

Since the early hours of the morning, the structures of the State Police have been involved in a joint operation with the Italian Police, coded "Car Wash".

The operation, initiated and currently underway in Italy, aimed at locating and arresting members of a criminal organization for drug trafficking.

As a result of the investigative work, the exchange of information and other operational actions, jointly with the Italian Police, within the international operation "Car Wash", the UK citizens, 34 years old, resident in Tirana and UB, were identified and declared wanted. 36 years old, living in Dibër, brothers, as well as EP citizens, 39 years old, living in Tirana and BG, 31, living in Vlora.

All 4 of these citizens are accused by the authorities in Italy, for the criminal offense "Trafficking in narcotics", carried out within the criminal organization.

Searches, checks and other operational actions continue, coordinated with the Italian Police, in order to locate and handcuff the 4 wanted citizens./CNA
