"Either she will come back to me, or I will kill her"/ Messages from

“Either come back to me or I will kill you.” This is one of the messages found by investigators on the cellphone of Mark Antony Samson, a self-proclaimed perpetrator of the murder of his Albanian ex-girlfriend Ilaria Sula, which took place in March in Rome. Details of the communications were published today by Italian media TG24.

The young girl had been stabbed three times in the neck. Her body, hidden in a suitcase, was then abandoned in a stream near Via Homs. In light of the evidence collected, the Rome Public Prosecutor's Office is accusing the young man of premeditated murder, poor motives and an emotional relationship with the victim.

According to investigators, the analysis of messages exchanged by Samson with several friends would reveal a clear plan for the murder of Ilaria. Today, Monday, July 7, the young man was questioned again for about two hours and answered questions from prosecutors.

The Prosecutor's Office is now preparing to close the investigation and may request an immediate trial. The boy's mother is also being investigated for complicity in hiding a corpse. /CNA
