A surgeon has been arrested in Korça for sexually harassing a 21-year-old woman. The woman's father has spoken about the incident and said that as soon as he was informed by the girl, he filed a complaint with the police.

According to him, the 21-year-old woman has indicated that the harassment by the doctor was a repeated incident. He further stated that he does not live in Albania but will pursue the matter legally to the end.

"I filed a complaint last night about my daughter for sexual harassment. I have been back from Germany for two weeks. After two days, my daughter complained about her stomach, she was also vomiting. I went to the pharmacy and got some medicine, the medicine did not improve and my mother took her to the hospital. He called me and said, come on, the girl is sick. I go to the hospital, they do tests and an ultrasound, the ultrasound came out fine. The doctor said that the ultrasound is not good, the tests show that she has an appendix. The doctor was NN. They did the operation and it came out fine, they left her in the room but the doctor said that she has an infection and will treat her for that too.  He told me that he would treat her in the presence of your mother, but he had done other things that the daughter told me later. The daughter said that the doctor had tried to kiss her. He had covered her face. When he was applying the cream, he told my mother not to look here. It is a repeated case, the daughter tells me, but He didn't tell me that there was a problem, so I shouldn't make a fuss.
