Following information obtained through operational channels that citizen AH, 59 years old, resident of Peshtan, was carrying out illegal activities in connection with the electoral process, the Police services, at 19:20, checked and then accompanied this citizen to the Fier Police Station.

During the physical search of this citizen and the search of the vehicle in which he was traveling, a notebook with notes regarding the electoral process was found.

Citizen AH's statement was taken and he was released.

The State Police guarantees citizens and all political entities that it is completely separate from political entities and focused solely on enforcing the law, ensuring order and security throughout the electoral campaign, and the inviolability of the vote.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier, for further investigative actions./CNA
