Suad Idrizi, the lawyer of Arsen Muskurti, who two days ago killed his brother and sister-in-law, denied the news that the conflict between the brothers started because of religious belief.

In the show 'Sot' on Euronews Albania, he explained that Muskurti has been his client for about two years precisely because of issues of protection orders and conflicts with his brother.

He indicated that the conflict between the brothers started regarding the ownership of the agency, which was initially opened by Arseni, who then withdrew from the ownership and left it to his brothers.

The lawyer said that Arseni has 2 wives, one legal and one cohabiting, and 7 children who, as he said, were immediately sheltered in a social center as they feel threatened by the possibility of revenge from the family members of Muskurti's sister-in-law, killed by him.

"On the night of the incident, the police took the children and the wife for a protection order. They are in an apartment with another family, so they felt threatened. But the Court had terminated the protection order. Arseni has a wife and a partner, he also has 7 children. They went to a social center in Tirana, the state police did not take any measures to protect them. Arseni also has an adult son, around 16 years old, so they fear revenge from his ex-sister-in-law's people," said the lawyer./erunews
