The police reacted in connection with the DP's denunciation that the two sons of the SP candidate for Hasin, Halit Mulaj, distributed aid with their personal van to secure votes.

The Blues announce that the van belonging to Mulaj's sons was blocked by citizens in the city center, who then called the police.

After that, the van was escorted, where 21 packages with the inscription "State Material Reserve" were found, which were loaded in the municipality's warehouse.

For this, the Blues have interrogated the two brothers and the storekeeper of the municipality, meanwhile, investigations are continuing to unravel the incident.

On 17.04.2023, around 21:00, a group of people blocked in the center of the city of Has, a van vehicle with license plate AB 333 EC, driven by citizen BM, with the claim that it was loaded with aid packages which they suspected that they would be distributed on behalf of a candidate of a political entity, and for this case they have notified the Has Police Station and the Prosecutor's Office at the Kukas Judicial District Court has been informed.

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Has Police Station, after receiving a report from the MD citizen (one of the citizens who had blocked the van in the city center), on his claim, immediately notified the Prosecutor's Office at the Kukës Judicial District Court, in order to obtaining authorization to exercise control in this van.

After receiving the authorization from the Prosecutor's Office, the services of the Has Police Station have immediately escorted the van with license plate AB 333 EC to the premises of the Police Station and in the presence of the officers of the Judicial Police, the driver of the van and the complaining party, an internal control was carried out of the van, where 21 packages with the inscription "State Material Reserve" were found, which were loaded in the municipality's warehouse.

Following the procedural actions for this case, citizens BM, E. M (brothers) and Sh. M. (on duty as municipal storekeeper).

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Has Police Station, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Kukës Judicial District Court, continue the procedural actions for the clarification and complete documentation of this case.
