Journalist Artan Hoxha has shown this evening how opposing groups attempted to assassinate Ervis Martinaj, the gambling boss who has been missing since August 2022, with a drone.

Hoxha said in the show "Opinion" that Martinaj bought a house next to that of Prime Minister Edi Rama to feel safer, because the residence of the head of the government is surrounded by the Republic Guard.

He stated that this made it more difficult for the Vlonians to carry out the assassination, which they intended to do with a drone.

"A drone is ordered. They want to assassinate Ervis Martinaj. He bought a house near the prime minister, he bought it for security. The Vlonjats could not approach him because it was the guard. The guard was guarding him for security.

To get closer to him they ordered a drone. They bought the drone and wanted to mine it from above. It was not possible. The presence so close to the prime minister could cause them an earthquake", emphasized the journalist./ CNA
