The police arrested 2 people in Shijak, TD, 33 years old, and VK, 43 years old, after 80 thousand euros were found in the vehicle they were driving. 

This large amount of money is suspected to have been stolen from banks in EU countries. 

Police Notification: 

They tried to sell on the market, an amount of suspected stolen euros in banks of EU countries, 2 citizens were put in handcuffs.

80,000 euros are seized.

The Operational Support Section of the Investigation, in cooperation with the Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes, as a result of the immediate administration of police intelligence, that 2 citizens were trying to sell on the market, an amount of euros (with security ink) suspected stolen in banks of EU countries, they finalized the coded police operation "Suspicion".

During the operation, citizens TD, 33 years old, resident of Fushë Krujë and VK, 43 years old, resident of Ardhishte village, Shijak, were arrested in the act.

In the village of Ardhishte, in the vehicle in which these citizens were traveling, the police services found 80,000 euros, which are suspected to have been stolen from banks in EU countries, with the aim of selling them on the domestic market.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Durrës General Jurisdiction, for further action, for the criminal offenses "Cleaning the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity" and "Empropriation of money or goods derived from a criminal offense or activity" criminal"./ CNA
