The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, delivered her last speech for this year in the Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo.

During her speech, the President also mentioned the murder of Liridona Ademaj, considering it as a wound of society not only in Kosovo but also in the world.

The president emphasized that gender-based violence is not a women's issue but a test that requires commitment to change, describing it as a shame.

"Liridona was killed. This is a serious scourge of societies around the world. Gender-based violence is not a women's issue but a test that requires our commitment to change. Gender-based violence is a shame, not an individual issue," said Vjosa Osmani, among others./ CNA
