Murder of Liridona Ademaj / Accused Naim Murseli sent for psychiatric examination

Naim Murseli, accused of murdering his wife Liridona Ademaj, was sent this Friday to the Neurology Clinic at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (UCCK), to undergo a psychiatric examination.

Murseli was escorted to this clinic in handcuffs by Kosovo police officers.

The Director of the Institute of Forensic Psychiatry, Shpend Haxhibeqiri, stated that Murseli has been hospitalized at the Psychiatric Clinic for seven days and will remain at the institute until his full examination is carried out, and until doctors assess that his stay there is sufficient, as reported by the media in Kosovo.

The serious incident occurred in November 2023. Three people are accused of this murder: Naim Murseli, Granit Plava and Kushtrim Kokalla. /CNA
