Shortly after midnight, the price of fuel in Germany experienced a dramatic increase. This is because the Government's subsidies have ended today.

This situation has caused discontent and chaos, as travelers are already struggling with higher costs.

In a video published by Disclose.tv, it can be seen that the prices have changed completely at midnight.

We recall that Thursday marked the end of a temporary reduction in gasoline taxes and a special 9-euro monthly public transport ticket, subsidies introduced by the German government in May of this year, to somewhat ease the price crisis.

Although the fuel tax rebates came into effect at the beginning of June, it took some time for the rebate to be felt at the pump, while the opposite has happened since the aid package ended. As soon as this package expired, the prices experienced an immediate increase./ BA - CNA.al
