Ukraine: We have evidence of "Russian traces" in the attack on Poland

Ukraine's Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov said Wednesday that Ukraine is ready to provide its allies with evidence of "Russian traces" in Tuesday's blast in Poland.

After an emergency meeting of NATO member states in Brussels on Wednesday, Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said Tuesday's attack in Poland was likely caused by Ukraine's air defenses, but added that Russia remains to blame as it started the war.

But the Ukrainian official, Danilov, said that Ukraine is waiting to receive from allies the information on the basis of which it was determined that the explosion was caused by a Ukrainian air defense missile, saying that it wants to do a "joint study of the incident in Poland".

"Ukraine wants immediate access to the site of the explosion," Danilov said on Wednesday, a day after two people were killed in a border village in the blast.

Poland's President Andrzej Duda said on Wednesday that there was no indication that Tuesday's explosion in Poland that killed two people was a "deliberate attack", adding that it was more likely that it was just a disaster
